I wouldn’t get too hung up on whether its possible or not. If someone DOES tell you not to do a style because you don’t decide to tan, they are insane.

Tanning isn’t what makes tsuyome gal such a powerful style alone. It’s overall package of style, makeup, and attitude. Tanning is taking it that one step further, but I know for a fact that there are other hopefuls who like the 96GAL fashion, but also don’t wish to tan.

As for famous models, there are some that tan a bit less than others, but generally if they call themselves kuronba, they tan. That’s why they are ‘kuro.’ If they alternatively just say ‘I’m tsuyome’, they may or may not tan.

Some models like Ramimin, Harurun, and Rechama are a tiny bit fairer than say Mipochi and Yun, but they are still more tan than the average 46(shiro)gal. They also do more of a ane gal look than kuronba, but luckily they are all grouped under that umbrella term.

Lastly, I assume you mean tanning BEDS aren’t healthy. I personally get professionally airbrush tanned by Endless Glow and not only is it flawless, it has ingredients to keep your skin healthy, and doesn’t have the harmful effects of UV(B) rays. Lastly, you don’t turn orange. So there is always that option if you even just want a tad bit of color.
